Endometriosis Women’s issues

Painful disorder in which tissue to the tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus. The endometrium grows outside your uterus. Endometriosis most commonly ovaries, fallopian tubes and the tissue lining your pelvis. Rarely, endometrial like tissue may be found beyond the area where pelvic organs are located.

Symptoms

1. Painful periods
2. Painful intercourse
3. Painful bowel movements
4. Heavy period flow
5. Bleeding between periods
6. Infertility

Complications

1. Infertility
   1. Main complication of endometriosis is impaired fertility. Approximately one third to one half of women with endometriosis have difficulty getting pregnant.
2. Cancer
   1. Ovarian cancer has been noticed to have higher prevalence amongst those who have endometriosis.
